How Tom Designs
Every Mooney Design Group home starts with the site and the people who will live there. Tom studies the views, the sun, the desert and the way each client wants to live, then shapes a home around them rather than fitting a standard plan to the lot.
Drawing inspiration from his extensive travels and deep roots in various cultures, Tom brings a commitment to bespoke craftsmanship, timeless elegance and client-focused design to every project, blending international influences with local character.

Projects start at a $1 million construction budget. Tom designs throughout Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix and all of Arizona, and takes on select projects in other states.

Architectural Designer or Architect?
Tom is an architectural designer, not a registered architect. Arizona law allows a detached single-family home to be designed by someone who isn’t a registered architect, and an architectural designer focuses specifically on residential design.
